The Shining Star MADA is awarded to an individual who has displayed outstanding dedication or has been responsible for outstanding accomplishments of local significance in the field of multiple births in a local community in Canada. One Shining Star award will be given out to each MBC Chapter annually.

The winner of the 2023 Shining Star award for the Ottawa Chapter – Multiple Births Families Association – MBFA is Dave Sullivan.

Dave has been the treasurer for MBFA for many many years. 

He is coming from an extensive amount of accountant and financial responsibilities background in his full-time career. 

He walked right into the vacated spot of our last treasurer, and we couldn't have picked a nicer person! 

He is simply put – DAVE

Dave never misses a board meeting and is always there with his quick humor especially when things got tough over the pandemic, he would lift our spirits at each meeting. Especially with his unique sense of HUMOUR.

Not only does Dave support us but his whole family is there at each event, sales and nights out to volunteer.

Dave is great at keeping us on track of every single detail financially and is dedicated in keeping the MBFA going.

The Chapter wants him to know that they see all that he does and that they appreciate him greatly. Thank you, Dave, and continue to just "Be Dave"!!
